Manager, Customer Intelligence & Analytics (GBS)
What Customer Intelligence contributes to Cardinal Health
Customer Intelligence collaborates with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and produce insights and recommendations that will enable data-driven planning & decision making as well as help stakeholders solve some of the business’ biggest challenges, gain efficiency and improve the customer experience.
- Uses data engineering, data science, data visualization, and data automation to produce insights and recommendations that will enable data-driven planning and decision making
- Uses knowledge of business and data to discover and/or anticipate problems or opportunities where data can be leveraged to address the need.
- Applies data visualization, descriptive and summary statistical techniques for discovery and timely insights (data exploration, ad-hoc queries, and analysis).
- Interprets results of analyses, identifies trends and issues (forecasting), and develops alternatives to support business objectives.
- Applies data aggregation, descriptive analysis and data presentation techniques and tools to communicate complex findings and recommendations to influence others to act.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences and mediums.
- Work collaboratively with Shared Services/Cloud teams, offshore developers, and business users to solve business problems, deliver solutions, and to resolve production issues.
Accountabilities in this role
- 5+ years proven management experience
- Strong customer focus
- Position will support our Global Business Services Organization which is a horizontal organization supporting Medical and Pharmaceutical segments, as well as numerous businesses such as
- Experience in Customer Service or Customer Administration a plus
- Proven analytics experience including the ability to proactively identify business problems leveraging deep analytical insights and recommend innovative solutions to leadership
- Proven ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and provide options on next steps
- Technical understanding of data, data structures, and tools such as Tableau & Alteryx
- Expertise in data movement and database technologies including but not limited to experience with SQL, GCP, Data Proc, Big Query, Google Cloud, Storage.
- Experience implementing key performance indicators based on organizational strategy, including aligned executive dashboards
- Proven ability to successfully work cross-functionally with partners in HR, IT, and Finance
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact well with senior leaders
- Proven ability to influence positive organizational change
- Proven ability to multi-task amongst frequently changing priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years’ experience in related field preferred
