Summary

The Logistics Business Analyst I will use analytical methods and a variety of tools to methodically examine, interpret, report and control logistics operations, processes and freight, in accordance with departmental goals. This position is responsible for data management and analyzing performance in order to support the logistics and customs management teams.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and analyze our Freight Bill Audit & Pay providers system to provide ad-hoc reports to multiple business units.

Utilize our Freight Bill Audit & Pay providers system to complete monthly accruals for Finance relating to Freight spend. Utilizes quantitative skills to create and analyze reports to support business execution.

Monitor, maintain, and analyze monthly FOS BTA, annual FOS Budget, Fleet Repair & Maintenance Budget, and Interplant Budget by performing data management through a combination of reporting, data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, process mapping, and/or problem analysis.

Support the business through ad-hoc queries and maintain reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs.

Develops business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology.

Performs data management through a combination of data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, process mapping, and/or problem analysis; while executing day to day processes related to area of responsibility.

Maintain master data in multiple systems.

Analyze, interpret data and build reports to communicate results to the team.

Provide satisfaction to internal and external customers with the quality and responsiveness to their needs.

Education

Associate’s Degree Preferred

Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Required Skills and Experience

3 years’ experience in Distribution and or Transportation

2 plus years of strong systems knowledge in WMS

High proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and relational databases.

General understanding of Transportation, warehousing, order fulfillment and customer service functions and operations.

Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task, troubleshoot and problem solve issues.

Excellent oral and written skills essential.

Able to comply with set deadlines.

Able to support multiple projects and prioritize.

Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
