Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
We are interested in hearing from people who have
- Experienced in applying moderate to high complexity data science techniques to large and unstructured data.
- Demonstrated experience in completing data science projects with minimal supervision.
- End to end stakeholder management in terms of translating business needs into data science problem statements and delivering pilots / proof of concept through demos
- End to end delivery of data science projects.
- Experience in coaching more junior staff members
Roles and Responsibilities-
- Apply various techniques to effectively analyse data, build statistical models and design experiments by using large and complex datasets
- Communicate analytical output to stakeholders and other team members.
- Deliver business value by interpreting data (including identification of patterns and trends) to solve data-analytics problems, with minimal supervision of a more senior data scientist.
- Devise and apply models and algorithms to mine large and complex data sets.
- Understands core business and technical strategies and able to apply with end to end project responsibility
- Contributes to team activities within platform
- Mentor couple of junior data scientists in their day to day projects as well as develop them through trainings
Your Skills Experience-
- 3-6 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on programming experience in Python and/or R and SQL (Hive would be nice).
- Solid understanding on basic ML algorithms at a mathematical (under the hood) level.
- Must have been part of projects building predictive models.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills .
- Experience in big data is desirable but not mandatory.
