Job Location: Remote

The Operations Data Analyst is responsible for the creation, distribution, and analysis of sales reports. This role is also responsible for engaging appropriate management to determine new reporting needs, performing analytical work to assist managers in recognizing trends and anomalies, and providing administrative support as required.
Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all information prepared and distributed by the department
  • Create, analyze, and distribute sales reports per management requirements for frequency and formatting
  • Act as point of contact for management’s request for new reports, enhancements to existing reports, and advice on best practices in report development.
  • Evaluate data, recognize trends and report on anomalies/variations
  • Maintain solid working relationship with the Business Intelligence team, whether in house, third party, or offshore resource
  • Develop and implement report management program (document repository, change control, backup)
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain flexible schedule to allow availability during critical reporting times, including, but not limited to, monthly commissions reporting
  • Maintain positive working relationships with management and staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years experience in a reporting/data analysis role to include experience working with MS Excel, including pivots, formulas, data manipulation
Other Required Qualifications
  • Solid working knowledge of reporting tools to include, but not limited to AS400, Cognos, ProClarity, Adhoc, MS dashboards
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven track record of high satisfaction ratings from internal stakeholders
  • Strong internal and external customer focus; committed to building and maintaining strong working relationships with management and staff.
  • Demonstrated strict attention to detail, accuracy and completeness in reporting.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct research and learn new systems/reports
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize project work.
  • Must work proactively and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications for Strategic Solutions:
  • Working knowledge of SSS business data
Preferred Qualifications for Converged Infrastructure:
  • Working knowledge of Product Protection business data
