Position Title: Business Systems Analyst 3
Location: Alpharetta, GA *Can work remotely*
Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with the Director of Product Management and internal and external customers to create new products and opportunities for the network of the company’s partner developers. Responsible for creating and curating the work queues for the product development teams assigned to PDX, and responsible for gathering requirements and prioritizing development efforts based on strategic goals and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for “evangelizing” PDX and working with different teams to ensure successful launches of new features as well as onboarding of new customers. Translate business, market, and customer needs (collaborating with the Business Leads) into product requirements and development stories (e.g., functional and technical design documents). Assist Business Leads with overall solution business cases. Assist in collaboration with product development with the delivery of the product capability roadmap and as product owner for scrum teams. Identify and assist with cross-capability and cross-project and cross-business unit dependencies. Collaborate with the product team to create internal training, marketing content (as needed), assist with implementation methodology. Act as a point of interaction with R&D.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive experience in payer-focused healthcare Information Technology. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in payer-focused healthcare Information Technology in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and five years of progressive experience.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:
1) Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs);
2) Experience in discussing solutions with potential customers and gathering feedback for product development;
3) Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including: Software Engineers, Architects and Quality Assurance (QA);
4) Experience in Agile development or comparable software development methodology;
5) Experience working with healthcare EDI processing;
6) Experience driving enterprise level technology solutions projects forward, including navigation and mitigation of risks;
7) Experience defining, testing, and troubleshooting translations between various healthcare data formats, both industry-standard and proprietary; and
8) Experience defining and documenting product requirements for approval for customers and use by development teams.
