Overview:
A Sr. Business Analyst in the Digital Transformation and Technology department acts as the “bridge” between business challenges and technology solutions. They work with functional partners to understand how changes to process, products, services, and software can improve efficiencies and deliver business results.
This role will serve the Kitchen Production team that supports various kitchen production technologies, including forecasting, IoT equipment, hold timer systems and a future version of our KPS (Kitchen Production System).
The primary responsibility of this role will be to partner with the various stakeholders across the business to gather requirements for solutions that improve the team member experience and operational efficiency.
This position will also collaborate with other teams, including Learning & Development, IT Support, Corporate Communications, Field Operations and Facilities Management.
While restaurant experience is desired, spending time in restaurants is a must, as this role requires someone with a passion for improving the role of our restaurants’ team members and understanding their challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Build and manage trusted relationships with business partners
- Manage support and maintenance of business systems
- Analyze and evaluate the current business processes; identify areas of improvement
- Gather requirements, create documentation and resources for system implementations, changes, and issues
- Collaborate and interact with developers, stakeholders, system architects and various subject matter experts to manage the implementation of changes and issue resolution
- Be an active member of collaboration between business areas and DTT
- Work several days a month in a Chick-fil-A restaurant to ensure we are keeping a pulse on how our solutions are used and the challenges that the restaurant Team Members face.
- Lead training efforts for our team on restaurant kitchen operations to help us maintain alignment between restaurant realities and our team’s work.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Chick-Fil-A Restaurant Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Builds strong relationships with others and values the opinions and strengths of teammates
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Pursues continuous improvement and exhibits personal drive for excellence
- Self-starter who completes responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Servant spirit with strong sense of stewardship
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them to functional requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Travel Requirements: 20% Required Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Preferred Level of Education: Bachelors Degree Major/Concentration: Technical Field of Study
