Job Description Leads the Data & Analytics Platform Administration team to ensure the availability and stability of analytics platforms and tools supporting the system becoming a more integrated, data-informed, and analytics-driven healthcare organization. Partners with team and business partners to prioritize tasks, requests, and projects. Mentors and collaborates with team members on DevOps practices to implement process improvements, optimizations, and governance during all stages of the analytics development lifecycle.
Experience
3+ years of experience supporting DevOps practices, including utilizing source control, the automation of tasks, and infrastructure as code
3+ years of experience supporting data and analytics platforms (e.g., QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, R Studio, etc.)
Experience supporting full implementation of SDLC including code repositories, branching strategies, process automation, and change control best-practices
Experience with application and data architecture, scripting languages, application programming interfaces (APIs), databases (e.g, SQL Server, Oracle), operating systems, and cloud-based technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Qlik products in a large-scale enterprise environment including Qlik Management Console (QMC), Qlik Sense Site Administration, and access control modeling
Experience using Azure DevOps or related DevOps tools
Certification in DevOps practices (e.g., Microsoft Certification: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert | AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Skilled with demonstrated success in all phases of a quality-focused technology development lifecycle
Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and requirements amongst technology peers, end users, and vendor partners
Excellent analytics and problem-solving skills with strong technical ability to understand systems and system integrations
Experience with DevOps practices including the automation of tasks and infrastructure as code
Strong understanding of Git repositories and branching strategies
Proficient in PowerShell or related scripting languages
Experience using REST APIs to programmatically interact with systems
Ability to lead projects and initiatives from inception to completion without management supervision and to provide leadership support to other team members
Experience supporting and administering on-premise and cloud analytics platforms (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, R Studio, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of application architecture, databases (SQL Server/Oracle), operating systems, and cloud-based technologies
Ability to research, recommend, and pilot tools and process changes to drive quality and efficiency across the development lifecycle

Job Responsibilities
Leads Process Improvement and Innovation
Implement DevOps practices and identify opportunities for platform and data efficiencies, reuse, and automation (e.g., scripting, REST APIs to accomplish tasks and drive business processes)
Offer meaningful perspectives on analytics design, data and security patterns, concepts, alternatives, and best practices
Partner across development teams to develop, implement, and govern process improvement and change-control methods
Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices and trends
Work with functional stakeholders, development teams, and technology vendors to shape and prioritize the technical feature set
Leads Platform Administration and Architecture
Configure, administer, and monitor analytics platforms ensuring performance, availability, stability, and security according to requirements
Responsible for all aspects of release and change management of applicable platforms ensuring quality and best-practice adherence
Assist team members with problem management, investigation, resolution, and root cause analysis
Collaborate, design, and support the platform’s architecture, analytics data layer, and security model
Serve as product liaison with analytics platform vendors
Leads Resource Planning and Development
Lead and manage all aspects of a team responsible for analytics platform administration
Lead key strategic initiatives as assigned, developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, resources plans, communications, and other documentation
Mentor and coach team members including development of technical and interpersonal skills
Ensure team provides appropriate support documentation, status, and issue resolution reporting
Build, leverage, and maintain effective partnerships across technical and business community
Develop quality measures to assess overall success and productivity of team
