Job Location: Hartford, CT

Join our team as a Data Analyst for our Global Procurement Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for data collection, profiling, analysis and preparing analytical reports for business leaders that present complex data information in an understandable way. In this position you will also look for opportunities to automate the many existing manual processes for data collection, uploading and report generation.

General Description:
The Data Analyst (Operational Support Lead Analyst) will be responsible for accurate data collection, processing, profiling and analysis. The person is required to apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving problems faced by GP-TPM and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple areas, teams and business units. This role requires strong written and verbal communications.

Duties and responsibilities

Responsible for processing spend data collection from internal and external suppliers, including the data mapping and upload to the spend analyzer tool and the generation of various reports.

Responsible for data profiling and apply data quality checks

Responsible for the daily monitoring of the B2B Mailbox. Continue to strengthen B2B relationship between GP-TPM and Sales.

Responsible for various monthly reports including Management & Finance team reports

Responsible for the follow-up vendor team to ensure all manual spend reports have been received, formatted, mapped according to Spend Mapping.

Support teammates with ad hoc reporting requests.

Maintain and improve upon existing reporting by implementing automated solutions.

Qualifications/Technical Skill Requirements:
SQL and strong Excel knowledge required

Experience/Knowledge:
Bachelor and Master’s degree or equivalent work experience

2-3 years of relevant work experience (Procurement knowledge would be a plus)

Statistical analysis experience using SQL, Tableau, etc.

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and take initiative with limited direction

Identify gaps and opportunities in departmental process mapping of current state and the future state workflow

Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 58,200 – 97,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
