DESCRITPION
Multi-platform engineering team currently working in Teradata on premise servers with a near future move to AWS utilizing Teradata Vantage is seeking someone adept at looking through legacy processes and seeing more efficient ways to design and deploy those processes. Must be adept at communicating technical concepts to less technical users in language they can understand and getting buy in from users on process redesigns. Must also be adept to architecting complex datasets to maximize performance and efficiency for end users. Experience working with data science teams in deploying complex models and feature repos is a huge plus.
This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.
TECHNOLOGY
5+ years SQL experience (Teradata is preferred)
3+ years Python experience with an emphasis on Python for process automation
Airflow experience a plus
AWS experience a plus
DBT experience a plus
Experience deploying Data Science / ML models a plus
OTHER SKILLS
Must have strong skills in converting manual processes to automated processes
Must be comfortable working directly with users to understand current processes and design new solutions
More than anything must be a self-driven learner always looking to hone new skills
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 90,500 – 150,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
