Job Detail:
Supports benefit submissions for Medicare Advantage business, including, but not limited to: PBP preparation, provide regulatory guidance to market teams, assist in member material document audits, Medicare Part C bid support, and benefit analytics. Also, will stay up to date on latest CMS regulations and assist in quantification / recommendation based on changes.
Responsibilities:
Prepares detailed benefit documentation in compliance with CMS requirements.
Provides benefit analytics in order to assist market teams in selecting competitive benefit packages that adhere to CMS regulations.
Completes ad hoc assessments and projects for corporate-wide or market-specific initiatives.
Communicates results of analyses to more senior team members and others, as appropriate.
Actively participates in team and other internal meetings and may present on specific topics.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or other related field preferred
2-3+ years of healthcare benefit and/or claims experience; Medicare preferred
Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong technical skills in Access, Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Strong communication and presentation skills; written/verbal proficiency
Medicare experience strongly preferred
Experience with SQL and/or SAS for data mining preferred
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 74,900 – 124,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
