The Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) in Cimpress Technology enables engineering teams and leaders across all Cimpress business to fully leverage world class cloud technologies. This includes platforms like Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, along with solutions to help manage security, infrastructure, and cost. As a Business Analyst on the CCOE team, youll help this team bridging the gap between technology and business.
In this role, you will:
- Be immersed in diverse teams (e.g., Technology, Product Owners, Finance and Accounting) where you will collaborate on analyses and continually bring forward ideas and insights.
- Own the analysis and allocation of costs for a large, complex portfolio of Cloud based spend. You will drive improvements to this process from end to end, and work with various teams from Cimpress to manage this high-profile process.
- Data exploration, visualization, and dashboarding. Identify trends and drivers, perform exploratory data analyses and present views that will provide visibility into our costs and opportunities to optimize.
- Identify and lead projects to optimize spend in the Cloud. Provide insight into real return on investment projects, and collaborate with teams throughout Cimpress to take action.
- Handling communications with external vendors.
Your Qualifications:
- Passionate about data and technology, and how pairing those can drive insights that lead to valuable outcomes.
- 3+ years of experience into Financial Ops domain (preferably Cost and Spend Portfolio)
- A resourceful and driven problem solver. The Cloud is always evolving, and so are the processes and technology we leverage to manage our cloud environment. You’ll need to use the data, documentation, and people around you to investigate and solve problems.
- Excellent written communication and data presentation, with a close attention to detail. You have experience building dashboards, spreadsheets, and providing narrative that clearly and concisely presents the insights you’ve found.
- Experience working closely with global and remote teams from multiple departments/functions.
- Experience working with large datasets across functions and using data to drive change.
- Bonus: You’re already familiar with Cloud technologies. You know the strategy behind a cloud-native directive, are familiar with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, and have used cloud-based Business Intelligence tools (Apptio, AWS Cost Explorer, looker etc.) before.
