Job Location: Chennai
The Third-Party Risk Management/Governance Support Analyst role sits within the business office for CTI Infrastructure Services serving a critical function in leading key business stakeholders through Citi’s robust Third-Party Management framework, ensuring our suppliers are compliant with Citi’s policies, standards, and overall industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the entire end-to-end supplier management lifecycle, with a focus on APAC specific third-party engagements
- Maintain supplier systems of record, automating and optimizing third party data sources to be self-service and provide insight for senior management
- Establish new relationships between Citi and its suppliers, creating and managing third party risk assessments (TP-RAP) and Citi Approved Supplier records (CASP+)
- Review, assess, and act on results of TPM assessments/controls, facilitating and executing planning and pre-contract due diligence activities, ultimately ensuring that Citi is protected when entering into agreements with third parties
- Monitor and renew existing relationships, requiring constant collaboration and relationship building with all third-party stakeholders (eg. BAOs, CTPMO, TPU, TP-RAP Support, TPOs, RMO, Supplier Oversight)
- Perform timely and accurate ongoing monitoring controls, address and answer audit requests, facilitate cross border data clearance initiatives, solve human resource management and subcontractor reliance policy gaps with suppliers and TPU, complete annual assessments of third party compliance, monitor and report on SLA performance, assist TPU with other Citi third party requests including but not limited to insurance coverage evidence requests, financial evaluations, COB testing, TPISA, principal information requests etc.
- Coordinate directly with supplier contacts to remediate gaps between external policies and Citi requirements; navigate complex situations and conversations to communicate Citi policies and the consequences of not meeting expectations
- Develop, document and update Citi’s Exit Strategy Plans as required; when the exit strategy poses significant risk to Citi, work with business contacts to establish appropriate risk mitigation plans
- Build relationships with vendor contacts that cross regions, sectors, and functions in order to ultimately ensure third party compliance to Citi policies, contractual obligations and SLAs, and those regulations driven by larger governing bodies including the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)
- Monitor/track the consistent implementation, monitoring, and reporting of global governance models
- Engage with key APAC TPM stakeholders in the larger Citi TPM community to share best practices and drive policy decisions that most appropriately reflect the risks inherent in our organization
Qualifications:
- Preferred candidate has 9+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Third-Party Risk Management, Compliance, Risk and Control, Project Management, Operational Risk
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of Third-Party Management and Third-Party Risk
- Direct experience with internal Citi structure and Citi’s Third-Party Management framework and teams (TPRM, TPU etc.) preferred
- Experience in program/change management and process re-engineering
- Strong candidates should display high level of attention to detail and ability to break down complex problems to drive solutions
- Ability to tailor written and verbal communication to senior audiences. Must have the ability to articulate complex and sensitive issues to management, Business Activity Owners, Suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional meetings and discussions
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products is critical to the role; Advanced Excel/SQL/PowerBI/Qlikview/R/Python/other quantitative data analysis skills a plus
