Job Summary
The Customer Xperience Technologies (CXT) organization at Comcast is responsible for the technology, systems, and tools that support the customer lifecycle (sales, activation, billing, support, etc.), as well as employee-facing functions such as human resources, finance, workplace information technology. CXT is a key department within Technology, Product, Xperience (TPX). The Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence is responsible for data integrity and governance, building out and maintaining unified, consolidated reporting, and drive cross-functional workflows and efficiencies. This is a hands-on position and involves close partnership with members of the CXT Business Operations team, along with cross-functional teams including Finance, HR, and Procurement.The ideal candidate will be able to effectively work in the technical areas of CXT as well as corporate finance. The person in this position will sometimes need to navigate an environment with incomplete information, but still deliver results.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with teammates and cross-function business partners to review/build business-critical workflows, processes, documentation, and summaries related to personnel and non-personnel activity and expenses.
- Build out reporting suite, which is a combination of Excel, dashboards, and SharePoint, to provide consolidated data along with business insights to CXT leaders and their teams.
- Implement processes and governance to maintain data integrity.
- Proactively build and provide readouts based on data-based observations, focusing on concrete business opportunities and risks.
- Summarize findings and articulate with partners/decision-makers
- Must be agile to adapt to business changes, leverage business, and financial competence, and constantly look for opportunities to drive efficiencies and help the Business Operations team to be more strategic partners.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven experience with a bachelorโs degree (preferably in a related field of study e.g., Finance, Accounting, Engineering, etc.)
- Proficiency in the management of large IT budgets and resource planning and management
- Knowledge of business/finance and technical aspects of IT infrastructure: servers, storage, private cloud, public cloud
- Highly skilled with consolidated reporting, and reporting tools and dashboards
- Strong financial competence, analytical and communication skills, and ability to effectively partner with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity โ driving improvements/efficiency with incomplete information
