We’re looking for candidates to join our Ruckus cloud team to build the Cloud CICD pipeline. This project offers exciting opportunities for building innovative services.
We are looking for engineers who see the big picture, can span the breadth of the product, jump into the depths of different topics and bring fresh ideas into various areas.
The mission of this role is to build and maintain pipeline that makes the cloud services deployment simple and fast.
You will be involved with our fast-paced releases. The role requires hands-on development, Understanding of cloud-related technologies and micro services deployment tools, SDLC and CICD pipeline toolsets. Role requires solid programming skills in Python.
How You’ll help us connect the world:
- Manage the micro services based CICD Pipeline and tool chain for GCP, AWS & Azure cloud
- Manage the custom Build agents, Deploy agents and custom code related to this infrastructure.
- Manage the aspects of Build, deployment and Bill of Materials to specify build details.
- Research new technology areas, innovations, ideas
- Be owning & driving Automation/DevOps services
- You will help us identify and develop solutions to improve automation, build harnesses, and simplify our Continuous deployment and processes
- Identify and research new and emerging approaches and technologies, and open source projects.
- Research and define benchmarks for security, scale, performance, code and product quality.
- Setup and maintenance of the CI/CD pipelines. This includes the building code via pipelines and deploying software for test in emulated environments
- Create and automate the deployment of containers
- work with DevSecOps infrastructure to include Bitbucket, Jenkins, Argo CD, etc bridging classified and unclassified domains
- Lead aspects of Name server delegates and related systems for this infrastructure.
- Support automation of CICD process with Slack as an end user interface
- Implement the CICD maintenance and enhancement duties, providing as-needed hands-on technical support
- Develop reliable, readable and maintainable code with test cases wherever custom code is added.
- Jumping into above area of work to help resolve issues
Required Soft Skills
- Ability to identify development dependencies
- Collaborate with team members to design the best solutions.
- Ability to grasp new, ground breaking technologies, test out alternatives
- Ability to quickly read, understand and explain technical topics to the development team
- In general, the successful candidate needs to be a clear communicator with the ability to write clear code. This project involves development centers spanning multiple geographies and time zones
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or another technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in leading and technically managing projects
- Experience writing software, designing APIs, working on projects that requires some aspect of release engineering / release management
- Expertise in at least one of the Cloud Configuration technologies such as Salt/Ansible/Chef/Puppet or equivalent is required
- Python expertise is required.
- Experience of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux, Argo Workflows
- Git branching and release management
- Experience with maintaining CI CD pipelines
- Support and Manage Yum, npm, Gem repositories
- Knowledge in Linux, KVM, Virtualization, Linux Container Ecosystems, Cloud Architecture, Virtualization, System Engineering.
- Experience with Docker & LXC Containers, Kubernetes, and related technologies
