The County of Riverside’s Riverside University Health System – Public Health Department has a vacancy for an IT Business Systems Analyst II (BSA II) l located in Riverside. The selected candidate will participate in the upgrade of the Laboratory Information Management System as well as support the Public Health Laboratory. The BSA II will be tasked with project coordination between vendors and stakeholders, process improvement, requirements gathering, support, quality assurance and testing.
The department seeks candidates with job related IT experience in a healthcare setting. Candidates with knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), preferably Starlims, are highly desired.
The IT Business Systems Analyst II is the journey level classification in the IT Business Systems Analyst series and reports to a supervisory or manager level position. Incumbents perform the full range of duties requiring a greater technical knowledge with little supervision or guidance. Advancement to the next level is obtained by competitive selection through an open recruitment.
