Purpose/Introduction
Information Technology at Chevron Phillips Chemical leads our Digital Journey. The department is chartered to enable a smarter enterprise, establish a connected workforce, optimize access to key information and support our growing company. This position is responsible for providing Business Intelligence & Analytics expertise for both project and operational (include end user & system) support work. The successful candidate would provide development and support service for CPChem’s primary Business Intelligence tools – SAP Business Warehouse on HANA, Microsoft Power BI and Digital Platform like Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements new applications
- Supports the deployment and maintenance of applications
- Assists with providing solutions to meet customer data requirement needs
- Knowledgeable of a range of processes and systems
- Thorough understanding of system integrations and landscapes
- Ensures all applications issues from the customer support helpline are answered and resolved
- Maintains a good understanding of the applications business processes
- Maintains alignment with business users to plan applications changes and support
- Supports the group manager on solution strategy and software lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving skills
- 3+ years of delivering solution on BW on HANA platform
- 2+ years of strong Power BI development, User and Platform Support experience
- 5+ years of Analytics experience
- 2+ years of experience with SQL
- Ability to work independently and a Self-Starter
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and come up with innovative ideas
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong team player
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the following:
- SAP ECC
- SAP S4/HANA Analytics
- SAP S4/HANA Fiori Analytical Apps
- Expertise in connecting Power BI to a variety of Cloud and On-Premises Data Sources
- SQL Server
- API Experience
- MS Azure Databricks
- Data Science skills & tools (Python & R)
