    Your field of responsibility

    The Role is a Business Analyst role in Finance Change function. The projects aim a delivering target state strategic infrastructure which involve changes to systems used by finance departments like Product Control, Financial Accounting, Group Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Treasury & Liquidity reporting as well as supports changes driven by upstream system changes in the Front office, Risk and Operations domains.

    The change team is also responsible for user training and adoption of target business processes by the Finance teams and ensuring that there are appropriate handshakes between Finance and other departments of the bank supported by appropriate control model and ownership. You will be co-ordinating with colleagues across a wide variety of functions like Group Finance, Treasury, Product Control as well as colleagues in the Application Development team across the Bank

    Your skills and experience

    To excel in this role, you should possess below:

    • 2-6 years of full-time relevant work experience, primarily as a business analyst in change related functions in finance based projects such as Investment banking, Core banking, Private banking and/or regulatory reporting
    • Hands on experience to define business requirements for technology improvements relating to regulatory reporting
    • Sound understanding of any one or more of the financial products like Equity, Fixed income, Loans, SLB/Repo, OTC Derivatives, FX, Listed Derivatives, Money Market Products etc.
    • Exposure to Software development life cycle concepts like Water fall and Agile
    • Understanding of Business and Accounting Events, Corporate actions, Trade Life Cycle from Trade Booking to Trade maturity and in between lifecycle events
    • Knowledge of the business requirement gathering and documentation of business requirement document and functional requirement document.
    • Able to design test cases and perform testing
    • Knowledge of MS Excel functions like H / V lookups, Pivot Tables and ability to design SQL queries required
    • A proven ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively and manage your workload accurately and efficiently to achieve delivery to deadline
    • Bachelors / Masters or PG in Management with prior change / reporting experience
    • Outstanding learning capability and interpersonal communication skills are a must
    • Demonstrate good experience in positively influencing people to deliver, partner management and illustrate real-life testing challenges and how they were overcome
    • Preferred hands-on experience in test management tools; Odyssey, Jira, excel
    • Ability to work in a complex, matrixed organization with flexibility to work in APAC/EMEA Shifts
    • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also working to deliver on time
