Summary:
The Data Analyst at Heights Finance is responsible for querying data and building data sets that provide valuable solutions for multiple departments. The Data Analyst should analyze requests from various departments and design processes, data sets, and automation tools that provides faster, simpler, and more stable results that add value across the entire company.
What you will be doing
- Query data from SQL databases to provide valuable insights for multiple business departments
- Become knowledgeable of all datasets and data marts available in the data warehouse
- Assist Business Analysts and Data Scientists in understanding the data
- Work with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence on data requests
- Build Dashboards on Sigma
- Assess data-driven business processes for potential improvements and automation
- Other tasks as assigned
What you should have
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Business Field
- 0-3 years of experience in business intelligence, data, or risk analysis
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- SQL experience
- Experience with a scripting language is a positive (PowerShell, Python, C#, etc.)
- Ability to interface with the business leaders
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple simultaneous requests
- Proactive and able to work in an autonomous work environment
- Proven data gathering and analytical skills
