Job Detail:
The Senior Manager of Data Science will join the Marketing and Growth Analytics team, which supports a facts-based decision-making process in measuring marketing initiatives across the retail front store, pharmacy and clinic businesses. This role will be responsible for leading a small team of data scientists in optimizing media investments to drive digital customer growth online and offline. The ideal candidate will have a digital analytics background with experience in attribution modeling and other advanced analytics. Experience in retail or healthcare is preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach and mentor a small team of data scientists
- Lead optimization of marketing and media investment in digital pharmacy to enhance patient contact strategy, including building digital pharmacy campaign test designs, measurement, targeting, and attribution/media mix modeling
- Build and analyze multi-device data flows used in multi-touch attribution modeling for enhanced digital channel efficacy insights
- Devise robust marketing measurement plans in collaboration with Marketing, Media and agency partners
- Analyze performance marketing data to understand digital customer journeys and identify marketing opportunities
- Recommend and execute analytic solutions that enable a more complete understanding of digital customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value
- Develop digital pharmacy dashboards and reporting solutions to increase business access to data and insights
- Review and approve methodologies used for advanced analysis projects and provide input into tool selections
- Create and deliver impactful presentations for mid-level and senior-level audiences
- Ensure team stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Manage the review and update of internal procedures to ensure quality and efficiency
This role is not 100% remote, we are onsite every other week at this time. Site options include NYC, Woonsocket, RI and Wellesley, MA
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 115,000
Maximum: 230,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field with 6+ years working in analytics with a track record of delivering insights and impact; Master’s degree or equivalent in analytic discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience; or a PhD and 1+ years of relevant experience or in lieu of degree, equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as marketing mix, marketing optimization, predictive modeling, multivariate regression analysis, ROI measurement, A/B testing and experimental test design
5+ years of expertise using data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, Adobe Analytics and Tableau
- Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to convert complex data into insights and action plans
- Ability to explain complex statistical and machine learning methods and solutions to non-technical audiences
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple, complex projects in a deadline-driven environment
- High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing others is preferred
- Experience working with Snowflake, Databricks or similar cloud-based environment is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to convert complex data into insights and action plans
- Ability to explain complex statistical and machine learning methods and solutions to non-technical audiences
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple, complex projects in a deadline-driven environment
- High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail
Education
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
Master’s degree in quantitative field or MBA strongly preferred.
