Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

The MIB (Modernize the Install Base) team interacts across multiple functions and is ever evolving to ensure the appropriate focus on the highest revenue generating activities. The senior Analyst will need to work with Asset (Storage & Server), Opportunity, Revenue data to create insight and reporting for Sales and all interlocked functions, providing insight on activity, and all manner of data analytics and insight. The role also involves operational and analytic supporting to the broader MIB stakeholders.

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will evaluate business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends that improve business performance. You will encourage best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization, and as a trusted advisor to the business you will also end users to determine information requirements.
You will:
• Deep dive and correlate data, formulate conclusions and provide summary overviews to business leadership
• Supervise trends and elevate issues accruing due to data variances
• Interact with customers to set expectations regarding report availability and SLAs
• Engage end user to determine information requirements and drive technical direction as a technical lead in an environment that fosters personal growth on challenging projects that solve real-world problems
• Generate reports and recommendations based on analysis and proactively communicate status to the customer
• Exercise considerable judgment and take initiative in assignments to resolve problems and make recommendations and resolutions

Essential Requirements
- Ability to communicate complex ideas simply, coherently and fluently both in writing and verbally
- Evidence of influencing the strategic direction of a business unit through a combination of impactful, relevant analysis and clear communication
- Ability to manage a large and varied operational workload and stakeholder expectations
- Proven track record of using SQL to derive insights from large and complex databases
- Track record of building either analytical or reporting/visualization solutions using standard business intelligence tools: Tableau, PowerBI, R, and Python
- 2 to 5 years of related experience in a professional role
Desirable Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.S. (preferable) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems or equivalent
- An ambitious individual who can work under your own direction towards agreed targets and goals, you have an ability to manage change and to work under stress
- Sense of urgency, team player and attention to detail
- Evidence of continuous learning and adapting to new technologies
