Data Science Advisor

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join us in Performance Analytics Group to drive development, scaling and execution of ML/AI models for Run The Business processes WW.

What you’ll achieve
As a Data Science Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for contributing to business strategy and influence decision making based on information gained from deep dive analysis. You will produce actionable and compelling recommendations by interpreting insights from complex data sets. You will design processes to consolidate and examine unstructured data to generate actionable insights. You will also partner with business leaders, engineers and industry experts to construct predictive models, algorithms and probability engines.

You will:

• Design, develop and program methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights and solutions.

• Produce actionable and compelling recommendations by interpreting, exploring, identifying and communicating insights discovered from complex data sets.

• Collects and analyzes data required for projects including web scrapping and external vendor research. Summarizes, creates, and distributes reports as needed.

• Develop an understanding of Dell’s strategic business objectives and business unit operations.

• Support the full project life cycle from ideation through launch. Work cross-functionally to gain buy-in, support, and assistance.

Essential Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of related experience with in SQL, Python, R, having Macro, C, C++, Visual Basic Programming is a plus

• Possess appropriate mathematical knowledge and expertise with statistical analysis (Computer Science, Applied Math and Statistics, Computer Engineering)

• Solid knowledge of job associated programming languages SQL server, R/Python/Matlab, Tableau, MS Office products

• Knowledge of Big Data is a plus

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Attention to details and ability to work with ambiguity
