Work you’ll do
- Crafting – maintaining sponsor databases. Specifically, for use in identifying regional humanitarian crises and foreign policy variables.
- Databases are Excel workbooks with pivot tables, they need to be updated and maintained in a manner that allows for ease of use by multiple parties and sponsor analysts.
- Databases shall be able to graphically depict trends in data with fully sourced entries.
- Databases should be updateable in nearly real time.
- Should be able to provide training in update and maintenance of databases, as well as use, creation and graphical depiction of formats, when necessary, to sponsor analysts.
- Shall update and modify an existing handbook that graphically depicts trends in data from fully sourced entries. Handbook is delivered in a hard and soft copy – sourced by contractor resources.
- Brief reports supporting the databases and deviations of graphical trends on an ad-hoc basis.
- Format agnostic – possible formats include Word, PPT, Tableau, PDF, and Excel.
- Interact with clients daily and help coordinate and support inter-agency activities in the mission space, as well as potential collaboration with financial institutions.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the client environment and overall project scope.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in International Relations/Affairs, Public Affairs or Public Policy, Criminal Justice, or Political Science.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required.
- Must have expert functionality with Excel, and be confident in their ability to map trends, identify deviations in data, and brief reports on Excel-database variables.
- Must have experience in enhancing and creating new databases that incorporate automation, visualization, and sourcing via programs such as Tableau.
- Must be competent in any/all of the following: Python, R Analytics, SQA SQR, Tableau.
- Must also demonstrate proficiency in the following:
- Data automation
- Visualization
- Database management
- Experience coordinating with different Government agencies, including the Intelligence Community.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, change, and ambiguity.

Preferred:
- Experience within the East/Asia Pacific and Middle East regions are value added but not required.
