Responsibilities
The position is responsible for completing comparative pharmacy financial analyses; design, generation and interpretation of reports; and presentation of key findings for Pharmacy Retail Services.
This position will support standardization of analytic processes for the Pharmacy Enterprise that includes specialty pharmacy and mail order strategies, financial preparation and review, revenue cycle management, operational improvement and new business development. This position will provide actionable insights from disparate datasets that link product cost, quality and safety together to enable successful patient and business outcomes.
Other responsibilities include providing data that is accurate and reliable. The position is responsible for validating and presenting findings to cross-functional groups by expressing assumptions and validation work in a way that can be easily understood.

Analytic Support
- Supports standardization of analytic processes, data collection and analyses for the Pharmacy Enterprise.
- Performs analyses supporting pharmacy business lines and stakeholders to optimize programs and initiatives for any work effort involving retail pharmacy operations.
- Works with IT and BI to design algorithms, logic, test hypotheses, and build models.
- Supports financial and medication stewardship initiatives. Performs financial analysis regarding utilization, spend and cost on various other projects and programs on an as needed basis.

Report generation and data governance
- Validates results and completes reports as requested to support pharmacy business units (i.e. annual financial forecast, realized savings report, dispense data review).
- Maintains and updates related decision support system tables as needed to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
- Defines data quality management; ensures integrity and accuracy of data, tools, and reports by conducting the appropriate audit steps and investigation.

Communication and collaboration
- Ensures customer satisfaction and interpersonal communication in working with internal and external customers directly and remotely.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to select the relevant sources of information.
- Standardize presentation materials to meet the needs of diverse audiences and functional groups.
- Communicates timely to end users concerning business analysis functions.
- Works with stakeholders to identify the business requirements and the expected outcome.
- Remains current with department and system process changes.

Qualifications
Education Required
- Bachelor degree from an accredited college in business administration or related field (i.e. Finance, Accounting).
Minimum Required
- 2 years of experience with health care data analytics and data management or large ERP systems providing financial analysis, budgeting, and benchmarking support.
- Reporting out on financial and non-financial measures utilized in the health care industry.
- Directing the development and design of analytic solutions.
- Development of statistical and analytical data using tools such as SAS, Python and Excel.
- Pharmacy operations experience.

Business Analysis (CBAPยฎ or CCBAยฎ)

PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBAยฎ) Certification preferred.
