Job Description

This is role is in Risk monitoring analytics team within US Cards Business Risk.

Responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data and providing recommendations to management. Supports the development of data sets and develops effective data interfaces for business partner usage using data governance standards and policies. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management


Responsibilities
:

  • Gathers, Structures, and Analyses Data from multiple sources

  • Presents the results of data analyses and recommendations to management and process owners

  • Critical Partner with the business to identify the appropriate data sources and analysis methodology to meet business needs


Minimum Qualifications


At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information System, Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Technology

  • 2+ years’ experience programing with concentration in Data Science or related

  • In Lieu of Education Experience, 4+ years’ experience in Analytics, BI, MIS, Business Technology


Preferred Qualifications


If we had our say, we’d also look for:

  • Master’s Degree in Management Information System, Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Technology

  • Experience in SQL (Teradata, Snowflake), programming (SAS, Python/Shell), Tableau or similar BI/reporting tool, any cloud technologies, Github, MS-Office suite

  • Experience developing an analytical solution, testing, implementing in production systems using schedulers
