ECS is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to work in our Fairfax, VA office.

Job Description:
ECS is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to provide administrative and project management support for several ongoing efforts supporting development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions for the Department of Defense. This position assists with customer engagements including technical discussions and project monitoring and control. The Technical Project Analyst reports directly to the Project Manager and provides analysis on current and planned activities daily. Specific responsibilities include; organizing/scheduling meetings, managing project plans, action items and risks; creating meeting agendas and publishing meeting minutes; creating and maintaining team-member accounts for a variety of technology systems; organizing project kickoff and Technical Exchange Meetings; supporting contract actions and composing and editing technical reports and correspondences.

This position will have direct customer engagement and will be required to provide analysis on current and planned activities, direct technical support and project reporting on a daily basis. This position will manage the licensing, distribution, training, and best practices for several analytical tools.

Required Skills:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Secret Clearance and eligible to obtain Top Secret
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar technical degree (or relevant experience to offset the requirement)
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Experience managing different components of technical projects simultaneously, such as: financial management, program documentation, scheduling, deployment, customer service, quality control, and others
• Experience in developing and managing projects, to include project teams, prioritization of lines of effort, planning, scheduling and close out
• Familiarity with Machine Learning and Computer Vision
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently and demonstrates a willingness to learn new skills
• Experience with task tracking and ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA, GitLab, etc.)
• Experience with publicly available information and open source analysis
• Experience managing stakeholders and ability to quickly adjust to changing customer priorities

Desired Skills:

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of Agile, Kanban and/or JIRA
• Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, and the fundamentals of computer networking, information assurance, and network security
