Job Description:
EI – Production Support Services Group is hiring a Principal Systems Services & Support Analyst who will serve as a Production Services Specialist for supporting FFIO Business Unit Infrastructure & applications. The Principal Systems associate will be responsible for ensuring all applications systems are operational, data reliability, system observability, incident triaging, problem management and release/change engineering. This position will also provide on-call support and weekend support on a rotational basis and be responsible for providing technical leadership to a small team of on- and off-shore resources.
Primary Responsibilities:

Triage and escalate incidents in a timely manner.

Independently manage high impact and critical production incidents with minimal guidance.

Understand, troubleshoot, and mitigate issues on multiple technology platforms.

Work with FFIO development teams and stakeholders to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.

Lead and manage multiple projects, and deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Provide clear, concise oral and written communication targeted across multiple levels of the organization.

Evaluate and oversee implementation of new systems & applications, ensuring adherence to application support best practices.

Provide technical guidance and act as a technical escalation resource for the team.

Analyze metrics, identify trends, provide recommendations, and develop best practices in incident / problem management programs.

Provide evening and weekend on call, and special event support on a rotational basis.

Develop technical and process documentation.

Learn the domain, associated systems & technology.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
-
10+ years of production support or development experience.
-
Strong working experience on cross platform application environments, including cloud, distributed, operating systems, network, storage systems and automation.

Investment banking domain experience with exposure to Fund Accounting and operations.
Skills & Knowledge:
-
A self-starter and team player who can independently manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Strong hands-on working knowledge in Linux, CLI/BSH, Python and Splunk

Expertise in Observability, Scripting and automation tools.
-
Oracle PL/SQL – expertise in analyzing and writing PL/SQL.
-
Hands-on experience in Control-M and Batch Cycle Management.

Disaster Recovery Testing and Automation.
-
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

Highly effective business communication and influencing skills.
-
AWS / Kubernetes certification preferred.
