Position Summary
The Data Analyst is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic analytic projects that contribute to different business objectives.
The Data Analyst works closely with the team supervisor, as well as developers and stakeholders, to provide timely analysis of data and relationships of data elements across multiple systems.
The Data Analyst will manage and maintain the internal systems and processes for creating, moving, and retaining data for business needs. This includes file transfers via import/export routines and interface engines.
The Data Analyst will work with stakeholders to prioritize requests based on TRMC Mission and Values and possess strong communication skills to translate technical information to a non-technical audience.
The Data Analyst will have the ability to work with stakeholders’ side by side in a wide variety of business areas (Finance, Human Resources, Clinical) to understand the questions being asked and connect the dots to the necessary data points in our various business systems (EPIC EMR, PAYCOR HRM, PREMIER ERP)
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge in designing and generating data files.
  • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong working knowledge of data platforms. (SQL Server, Oracle, Data Warehousing)
  • Strong working knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (Power Bi, Qlik, Tableau)
  • Well-versed in HL7 and FHIR
Experience
  • Two or more years of information systems experience preferred.
Essential Functions
  • Design, develop, and generate data files and import/export routines.
  • Establish and maintain data retention processes.
  • Manage multiple data files and movement of data through a secured FTP or other methods.
  • Maintain and coordinate data dictionaries for multi-source systems.
  • Sufficient analytic, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Facilitate, design, and analyze with users to determine configuration for the user interface.
  • Gains an in-depth understanding of the data models.
  • Must be able to deal with stress while maintaining composure.
  • Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Highly effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.
