About the team
This role is a part of our COE – Center of Excellence Team.
What you will be doing
- Insightful storyboarding and data visualization of data using Power BI. The dashboards and reports are built for client/higher management on a regular basis.
- Documenting development efforts as required by change management practices.
- Quickly eliminate technical roadblocks across various engineering functions.
- Expert working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Provide effective and timely visibility of true project status to senior management and efficient escalation management.
What you bring:
- 3 to 6 years expert working knowledge of T-SQL, data warehousing and data management concepts.
- Expert working knowledge of reporting technologies like SSRS and Power BI
- Designing, building and deploying BI Solutions (e.g. reporting tools).
- Developing complex visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
- Expert working knowledge of performance monitoring, fine-tuning and optimization of dashboards
- Understanding of Power BI security implementations.
- Collaborating with teams to integrate systems.
- Expert in building quick POCs (proof of concepts) around newer more effective technologies for the team
Added bonus if you have:
- Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
- Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
- Knowledge of financial services industry
- Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
