    Summary:
    The Analytics Developer, Internal Analytics is responsible for the development, quality and release of data models and the development of interactive data visualizations and analytics packages within the Analytics team. This team member will be a part of the development team, leveraging best practice knowledge of data visualization tools to create meaningful and insightful packages to transform our business.
    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for collaborating with Product Management and key Stakeholders to ensure the development work is meeting the requirements of the business.
    • Provide detailed analysis, design, tuning, testing, implementation and documentation of the business intelligence system and data warehouse.
    • Provide expertise in writing and editing queries that read, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
    • Perform data analysis with appropriate programming and analytic methodologies; present data or reports in a meaningful fashion; work collaboratively with teams and leadership; formulate recommendations for further initiative refinement based on current data evidence.
    • Responsible for business intelligence quality testing, stakeholder approval and user acceptance testing.
    • Conduct periodic analysis of infrastructure and application performance and contribute to the annual IT strategic plan.
    • Responsible for building an efficient infrastructure to deliver data to end users.
    • Developing analytics for large heterogeneous data sets; Being creative and innovative in how complex (and big) data is processed in distributed systems
    • Adheres to all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to those identified within the Standards of Business Conduct and the Employee Handbook, as may be amended from time to time. Adheres to all applicable laws and regulations and the company’s governance/compliance program.
    • Responsible for reporting violations of the company’s policies and procedures, Standards of Business Conduct, governance program, laws and regulations through the company’s Help Line or other mechanism that may be available at the time of the violation. Assists with internal control failure remediation efforts.
    • Becomes knowledgeable of internal control responsibilities through training and instruction. Responsible and accountable for internal control performance within their area of responsibility. Participates in the internal controls self-assessment process.
    • Ensures concerns with internal control design or performance and process changes that impact internal control execution are communicated to management.
    Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent professional experience
    • 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Developer
    • 2+ years of experience working directly with Microsoft Power BI, or similar
    • 3+ years’ experience in SQL writing queries and troubleshooting issues
    • Problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Verbal and written communication skills.
    Preferred:
    • Experience with SCRUM development methodologies
    • Microsoft SSRS experience
    • Microsoft PowerApps experience
    • Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically Revenue Cycle Management
