Are you the kind of analyst who can look at marketing and sales data and make it make sense? Our Flex Analytics team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to assist our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. Here, you’d up-level our analytics insights through reporting, statistical modeling, measurement & A/B testing. In our startup environment, 50% of your time will be working with stakeholders to understand business problems, and 50% of your time would be spent working on analysis and models that help fix those problems. We have Data Engineers and Data Scientists at Flex (brilliant ones!) that allow this to be a true, business-centric, analyst role.
What you’ll do:
- Help create the planning and budgeting process from the ground up, working closely with the team to develop financial and operational goals and measurement
- Collaborate with business units to drive KPIs’ continuous improvement and develop models to track targets and initiatives
- Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting on KPIs, growth trends and competitive positioning for executive leadership to ensure business is operating smoothly and efficiently
- Optimize and improve on financial forecasting accuracy through advanced modeling and business partnership
- Manage and execute highly analytical strategic projects throughout the company, such as new product launches, expansions, operational changes and strategic alternatives
- Implement new systems and processes to help the finance function scale as the organization grows
- Provide data-driven insights and analytics via reports and dashboards to facilitate decision making and influence strategy by monitoring metrics and goals
What we’re looking for experience with:
- SQL- probably 3+ years of it to feel comfortable in this role
- Tableau
- Sales Analytics/marketing analytics experience – either B2B or B2C
- Statistical analysis, experimentation (A/B testing)
- Manipulating large datasets (10s of millions of rows+) to generate insights
- Reporting and dashboard building
- Telling stories with data
