The Role You’ll Play to Create Success
We are excited to announce our search for a full-time Jr. Business Analyst! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by serving as a liaison between the business and the IT organization to meet the needs of the business user.
- Serves as the liaison between the customer community and the development teams through which requirements flow.
- Conducts interviews and leads requirements gathering sessions with business representatives to elicit and document business requirements for system development.
- Effectively communicate issues to business customers and elicit feedback for applications programmers and technology solution providers.
- Develops and maintains use cases and workflow scenarios.
- Identifies requirements for testing, develops test plans and scripts and coordinates test transmissions, as required Tests software.
- Helps manage and test the User Acceptance Testing plan with the business entities.
- Applies use of tools to define requirements and documentation.
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert for assigned projects and processes.
- Works with the IT analyst to conduct production issue triaging and escalation as it relates to requirements/technical issues for the client/project.
- Collaborates with systems development and design personnel.
The Attributes We Seek
Keys to success in this position include a combination of 1+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in an insurance business environment. A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. Good knowledge of software platforms, business systems and database design practices. Experience using Business Analyst tools to include, MS Office suite, MS Project, database query language, time tracking tools, Use Case/UML, QA for test case development, execution, and defect tracking/issue tracking software.
