About Role
Gartner Consulting is looking for a Solution Engineer/Sr Data Analyst, PowerBI to create advanced data visualizations and interactive capabilities for clients and Gartner associates, to establish a robust data curation and validation processes and to automate data movement for analysis and data exploration.
What You’ll Do
- Work as a Solution Engineer to design and deliver high quality visualizations and analytics using the Microsoft Power technology stack:
- Architect Microsoft Power platform-based solutions, primarily focused on Power BI
- Perform data modelling and data flow design using Power BI and related Azure tools
- Develop advanced interactive capabilities based on Microsoft Power platform, leveraging low-code tools including Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate
- Work on consulting engagements for the world’s largest enterprises on their mission-critical priorities including development of custom dashboards, interactive deliverables and innovative prototypes.
- Work with globally distributed team of consultants to build capabilities across multiple industry and technology domains
What You’ll Need
- Software Engineering or Data Science degree or equivalent subject matter of study
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT / Business / Consulting environment or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Microsoft Power BI and related tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query M and DAX
- Proficiency in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory a plus
- Ability to creatively design the user experience of data visualizations, dashboards and reports leveraging Power BI
- Proven professional experience with Data modelling and Data engineering
- Microsoft Certification DP-500 and PL-600 are considered a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the desire to share technical knowledge and information with others
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- A curious and inquisitive mind, with an openness to new experiences and learning
