JO B DUTIES

  • Improves systems, controls and business processes by analyzing current practices or operational procedures and designing or recommending modifications
  • Studying system capabilities and writing functions or system specifications
  • Provides support for users by writing and maintaining system documentation, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, providing user support and training
  • Coordinates testing of new or modified systems to ensure integrity and quality of data while providing and/or assisting in training of users
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Contributes to team effort by completing special projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, this incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required
  • Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team setting
  • Previous internships considered a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (including Excel, Word and Access)
  • Detail oriented

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a business related field required

Experience

  • Must possess a minimum of a 30 (out of a 4 point scale) overall GPA required
  • Junior or Senior classification preferred

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to commit to work 40 hours for 10 consecutive weeks during the summer (First week of June through 2nd week in August)
  • Must participate in all GMF sponsored events for interns
  • Hybrid Work Model
