Responsibilities
JO B DUTIES
- Improves systems, controls and business processes by analyzing current practices or operational procedures and designing or recommending modifications
- Studying system capabilities and writing functions or system specifications
- Provides support for users by writing and maintaining system documentation, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, providing user support and training
- Coordinates testing of new or modified systems to ensure integrity and quality of data while providing and/or assisting in training of users
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Contributes to team effort by completing special projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required, this incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required
- Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting
- Previous internships considered a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (including Excel, Word and Access)
- Detail oriented
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a business related field required
Experience
- Must possess a minimum of a 30 (out of a 4 point scale) overall GPA required
- Junior or Senior classification preferred
Working Conditions
- Must be able to commit to work 40 hours for 10 consecutive weeks during the summer (First week of June through 2nd week in August)
- Must participate in all GMF sponsored events for interns
