About The Role
GoodRx is looking for self-driven and motivated Data Analyst interns who bring diversity and add new perspectives to our growing team. We are seeking someone with the curiosity to discover questions and subsequently answer them. This individual should have foundational mathematics knowledge from coursework, an understanding of common statistical testing concepts, and strong communication skills. If you join us, you will have the opportunity to work with industry experts on projects in areas such as customer retention, engagement, recommendation systems, and pricing.
Responsibilities
- Work with business owners and stakeholders to formulate hypotheses and help drive smarter decisions to deliver even better products and experiences.
- Design models, metrics, reports, and dashboards that help stakeholders better understand the user journey, monitor business health, and access data.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to understand business needs and analyze complex data while communicating recommendations.
- Develop requirements, processes, and documentation for reporting on data-related projects.
Minimum Qualification
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with technical exposure to data analysis
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python
- Graduating class of 2024 -2025
Preferred Qualifications
- Related coursework in healthcare and/or prior internship experience.
- Working knowledge of common analytics tasks like cohort analysis, churn/lifetime value, and A/B testing.
- Prior experience building data science/machine learning models.
- Prior experience using a business intelligence tool like Tableau or Looker and database technologies like Redshift and/or Athena/S3.
