Job Detail:
- Gather business requirements for enhancement, customizations and develop technical requirement documents. Should be able to provide solution technically
- Prepare estimate based upon the custom requirement and prepare project schedule.
- Engage in business meetings to understand and review the feasibility of the business requirements.
- Customization of reports.
- Responsible for gap analysis of functional flows, provide solution design, perform POCs and demo for the Gaps solution from standard solution sets as well customized solutions.
- Work closely with Microsoft support team and should be able to create service request as and when required for business-critical issues.
- Should be able to analyze current ETL process, define and design new systems
- Should have ADF experience.
- Should be able to redefine and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems
- Display proficiency with the Power-BI & Microsoft-BI tools.
- Involve in post implementation support to provide solution for production issues or for any other maintenance activities which might also involve change management process.
- Test and document all code changes. This includes Unit Testing, component integration testing, system integration testing, and performance testing, capacity testing and quality reviews.
- Bachelor or Master s degree in Computers Science or in any branch of Engineering.
Experience
- Candidate should have 3-7 years of good hands on experience in Power-BI & Microsoft-BI.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong hands on experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Packages/Procedures, SSIS, ADF and Power-BI report development.
- Hands on experience in creating dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.
- Should be able to perform DAX queries and functions in Power-BI.
- Must have experience in designing BI solutions with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 / 2008 R2 / 2012
- Must have experience in building state-of-art reports that deliver information in a user-friendly and efficient way
- Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2008 / 2008 R2 / 2012
- Must have experience in T-SQL stored procedures and T-SQL functions.
- Should have knowledge of ITIL processes, including naming and coding standards.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Work experience in Python, Pyspark and Cloud computing would be an added advantage.
- Certification on Power-BI or on Cloud computing would be preferred
