Job Title: Manager, Business Intelligence (Salty Snacks Division)

Job Location: Austin, TX

This position is open to 100% remote

Summary

The Manager of Business Intelligence will support the development and management of our centralized capability, synthesizing data to enable our teams to make insight-driven decisions. This individual will work with large datasets across multiple databases, monthly reporting, and analytical tools to unlock insights and growth opportunities across cross-functional teams, categories, and brands.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal reporting suite which includes report design & building, fixing errored reports, managing the refresh each month, and leading database restatements each summer
• Manage relationships with cross-functional and third-party partners by providing clear direction on tasks and due dates, and keeping the teams accountable
• Engage with Commercial team to enhance planning, forecasting, and reconciliation processes by leveraging consistent use of data and insights
• Analyze, understand, and share out key drivers of Amplify’s and key competitors’ performance, as well as macro trend insights
• Manage enterprise data budget
• Drive the development of ad hoc dashboards and models using advanced Excel and Power BI skills to help cross-functional partners understand their businesses in a simple manner
• Maintain regular touchpoints with Cross Functional partners, including Category Management, Sales Planning, Marketing, Finance, and Demand Planning
• Liaise with the Hershey Organization around data integration, processes, and synergies

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ analytical experience in category management, sales, consulting, finance, or marketing
• Exceptional Excel skills with the ability to analyze and organize large data sets from multiple sources and build dashboards/models to present and visualize information in a simple manner
• Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, consistent accuracy
• Self-starter/learner , and ability to adapt to fast paced and changing environments
• Strong knowledge of syndicated data
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience:

• Experience building dashboards in Power BI
• Ability to build macros and/or write VBA in Excel
