The Business Resilience Program Analyst – Crisis Management eill be responsible for supporting the global Crisis Management (CM) Program Manager. This position will manage elements of the CM program, processes, tools, collateral and training under the guidance of the program manager. The candidate will liaise with stakeholders in global functions and business units to deliver, communicate and support the program. The candidate will also support CM related projects and initiates to meet annual goals. They will actively contribute to team and program development efforts.
Responsibilities:
At the direction of the Crisis Management (CM) Program Manager, the analyst will:
- Create a process to maintain all existing program collateral based on a predetermined review frequency and record retention policies and support the creation of new collateral as needed.
- Maintain all program training courses annually and support the creation of new course material as needed
- Perform administrative activities associated with our Emergency Notification System and Intelligence alerting tool and support new projects as required
- Update and maintain program metrics monthly, as well as the Crisis/Incident timeline
Support the Crisis Management Program Manager by:
- Monitoring tools for security incidents/alerts for potential HPE impacts to sites, team members, business operations, brand/reputation
- Auditing CM Plans and rosters for completeness, approvals, and activations to identify gaps
- Preparing slides for CM training and exercise sessions
- Supporting the development of an incident management framework and incident/crisis-specific playbooks.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Monitoring news and travel/incident intelligence to potential travel impacts, foreseeable travel conflicts or changes to country travel advisories
- Implementing and managing multiple parts of processes/projects with guidance from Business Resilience program managers or other senior team members.
- Independently identifying and proposing and proposes opportunities and solutions for enhanced program efficiencies.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in professional experience and qualifications
- Working knowledge of crisis management, travel security and security operational practices preferred
- Background or interest in global affairs/geo-political awareness preferred
- Ability to develop and implement actionable plans
- Ability to be effective in both collaborative and individual contributor environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, reporting and strong interpersonal skills
- Significant capacity for detail and interrelationship reasoning
- Ability to analyze and assess data, identify, and address problems, and to create proactive solutions
- Strong organizational, time management and planning skills
- Rapid work style with very high capacity to handle multiple activities simultaneously
- Adept in using MS Office Suite (including Teams, SharePoint, and Visio) as well as other personal productivity tools
Knowledge and Skills:
- Sound, ethical judgment required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure.
- Developed ability to analyze data to draw conclusions.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills. Able to collaborate with internal and external resources. Developed written reporting skills.
- Self-motivator able to work independently, with guidance on more complex issues and decisions.
- Strong organizational, time management and planning skills. Able to multi-task, and shift priorities as needed.
Impact/Scope:
- Scope is global nature and will support CM activities in all areas in which HPE operates.
- Delivers functional support services and work that require experience and moderately specialized tools and methods.
- Liaises with global business stakeholders in other functions to deliver and communicate HPEs overall CM framework, program, and processes.
- May manage moderately complex work and situations/environments.
- Contributes to team and function process development efforts.
