HPE Financial Services is seeking an experienced, energetic Business Analyst/BI Developer to support our HPEFS Asset Management operations. This position will play a prominent role working with business colleagues to develop BI solutions. These solutions will utilize BI tools and critical data to evolve our data reporting structure. These BI activities are designed to help us make informed decisions and ultimately drive better business outcomes.
This role requires excellent communication and consulting skills, and the ability to collaborate across many parts of the organization. To be successful, this person will need to become an expert not just on the data and tools, but eventually on the Asset Management business as well. Project management experience is also desired, as this role will be routinely breaking down complex BI requirements into concise project plans involving various parts of the organization. The ideal candidate must be proactive, curious, highly organized, and have a proven track record of driving and delivering BI solutions. Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their ability to deliver reporting projects on-time, and with a high level of quality.

Job responsibilities:
- Consult with the business to understand their needs and jointly create BI business requirements
- Ability to identify, define, assemble, and link the data sets need for the BI solution (in conjunction with IT as needed)
- Be able to build and create BI capabilities
- Work with the business to interpret the results from the BI capabilities, and support the business analysis process
- Act as an ambassador for BI and a data driven business.
- Project manage large scale reporting projects across various parts of the business

Experience
- Bachelors in Computer science, Engineering, Business, Mathematics or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a research-oriented, quantitative, or technical work environment
