Job Location: Bengaluru, Mumbai (All Areas) (WFH during Covid)
Job Title: Analytics Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Create & execute various analytics projects to inform team strategy for internal stakeholders; including the development of reports, dashboards, and scripts/automation using Google Suite, SQL, Tableau, R, and Python
- Work closely with different Stakeholders to identify, define, collect and track key business metrics and support the decision-making process.
- Collaborate with peers in Marketing, Procurement, Assortment Strategy and Operations to build & execute data-driven growth strategies.
- Lead functional analytics organization responsible for hiring and managing directs, setting business context, managing varied stakeholders and prioritizing business requirements.
- Identify process inefficiencies, build solutions, and drive operational efficiency (e.g. automating repeatable processes, weekly performance reporting)
- Run data-backed, clean experiments that will challenge the assumptions and make the Company better.
- Individuals joining the team would play an integral role in moulding the Company Culture. They are hence looking for people with hunger and an endless curiosity to learn, who will think of themselves as Owners of the Venture and not employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or an MBA from a reputed institute
- A good amount of experience in data analysis, process automation and reporting.
- Excellent SQL and Excel Skills
- Experience with at least one data science programming language (Python or R preferred)
- Working knowledge of at least one Visualisation tool
- Knowledge of basic statistical measurement frameworks (measures of central tendency,
dispersion, distribution, significance testing etc.) - Ability to structure problems into analytical terms to drive data based decisions
- Bent to experiment with analytical techniques to solve complex problems
- Ability to independently plan and execute deliverables
- Ability to multitask and work on a diverse range of requirements
- Experience of leading analytics projects/teams
- Experience in problem-solving and proposing unique solutions to complex issues
- Experience in developing and executing on project proposals (end-to-end)
- Extreme attention to detail
- Outstanding work ethic and sense of urgency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A data-driven approach to making decisions and measuring performance
- Commitment to continuous improvement (self and business)
- Technical proficiency in Google/Microsoft productivity tools
