Hitachi Energy is seeking an Automation and Data Analyst for its North America Planning and Fulfillment Hub function in the Transformer business. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and automating Planning and Fulfillment Scorecards, Dashboards, and Reports designed to aid the factories in their daily exaction and visualization of their critical issues and deliverables. Provide critical analysis and forward-looking projections to assist the business in achieving its objectives. This position can be remote and will require 10% travel to US factory locations.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop standard execution reports for Procurement, such as Overdue POs, Overdue Requisitions, Exceptions monitoring, Inventory status, etc. Incorporate these in a standard, easy to view dashboard.
  • Develop standard execution reports for Planning, such as overcapacity issues, labor efficiency, schedule attainment, etc. Incorporate these in a standard, easy to view dashboard.
  • Standardize and simplify the S&OP review templates, in order to pull data together in a easily understood manner, allowing for ease of decision making. Develop into an overall Hub S&OP review format.
  • Automate standard document creation, such as Supplier Open Orders Reports, On Time Delivery Performance, Cycle Counts, etc.
  • Drive ITM throughout the organization. Assist in the training and development of strong RCCM analysis.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field and five (5) or more years of experience in similar role, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, and ability to develop SQL queries
  • Preferred SAP or similar ERP experience in MM (Materials Management) and PP (Production Planning) modules
  • Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Independent analysis/decision-making capabilities
  • Strong communicator and teamwork oriented
