Role Description:
- The Analytics Consultant will be working in the pricing optimization domain along with our stakeholders in the commercial organization.
- The core objective of the program is to understand the optimal pricing of a product given its list of specifications. The analyst would be expected to work on pricing model deployment for new countries / biz models / segments.
- In addition to model deployment and interpretation, the analyst will also be expected to consult on using the relevant data to help solve business problems in this related domain.
- There is also a dashboard component that needs to be updated and enhanced post modelling.
Responsibilities
Model deployment and findings presentation; over time suggest enhancements to modeling approach and delivery
Database Maintenance – support on data extraction, query optimization, etc. Work closely with the tool’s team for integration
Dashboard management, refinement & maintenance
Project management support for PM to monitor engagement progress and course correct as required- Part of a cutting-edge analytics projects collaborating with project managers, data engineers, and business managers to drive significant change in the way we make decisions
Requirements:
- Typically 3-5 years’ experience in data science fundamentals around tools and techniques
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Experience in Advanced Analytics (building statistical models, driving data-driven decisions, working on strategic / consulting analytics projects)
- Hands-on experience on SQL (MSSQL/AWS) & R &/ Python is a must
- Experience in Pricing Analytics, financial forecasting and business planning preferred
- Experience in Big Data analytics and Machine Learning is highly desired
- Experience with visualization tools (PBI preferred)
- Ability to use creativity to spot trends and tease out patterns in datasets
- Proficiency in PowerPoint is a must
