What you’ll be doing day to day

Youโ€™ll lead the transformation of IKEA into a more data-driven company. Youโ€™ll be extracting and sharing insights from data that impact present and future decisions on business and product strategy, leading to a better experience for our customers. As a Data Analyst, you will effectively communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership. Influence to help shape strategy, identify opportunities, and measurements to enable successful product management. Serve as mentor and support analytics partners across the organization. Think proactively and creatively about business problems, partner with other Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and work with Data Engineering to implement sophisticated experimentation to enable high priority impactful analyses to guide digital product development. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Ensure, promote and take responsibility for informed decision-making based on data in order to improve business performance as part of cross-functional digital product teams
  • Conduct advanced data exploration and analysis using modern data mining techniques and visualization tools to provide insights that help co-workers and stakeholders make better decisions
  • Evaluate the potential and usability of pre-processed, structured internal and external data sources for use in product analytics and data-driven decision-making in general.
  • Ensure that solutions fulfill and adapt to actual business needs to continuously generate value for Ingka by working side by side with co-workers from different functions
  • Promote and apply agile ways of working in relation to advanced analytics, especially on topics like performance measurement and hypothesis testing by default to maximize key metrics and ensure that we realize the OKRs set by Group Digital. Qualifications:
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 4 years experience doing complex quantitative analysis working with distributed or highly complex datasets.
  • Experienced creating advanced queries, reports, and visualizations/charts. Developed data reports with insightful metrics and visualizations. Conceptualize the story based on trends analysis and present insights to key stakeholders.
  • 4 years experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), or statistical mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, MATLAB).
  • Ideally experienced with analytics in retail and/or customer experience market. Experienced with Conversational AI in a customer contact setting is a plus.
  • Experienced with cloud computing environments (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform) Salary Range: 73,036-105,901.75

In this role you will report to the Data Analytics Leader based in Conshohocken. The team reports into the Venture and Services Data and Analytics team based in Sweden. We work day-to-day with the Customer Support Organization, as well as with stakeholders in IKEA markets worldwide.
