RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce’s Southeastern Oak Creek, WI client is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Data Analyst who will be responsible for the integrity of master data and development of related business processes. This position will lead efforts to align business targets with ERP requirements, implement best practices in regards to data management and report on progress toward goals. This position is also responsible for training users and troubleshooting exceptions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supply Chain Data Analyst will ensure master data integrity in key systems
- Own, maintain, consult, and execute on master data related topics including new item setup and development of processes
- Lead cross-functional teams to gather required information from multiple areas (IT, quality, procurement, finance, supply chain, operations, sales, and/or outside parties), reconcile conflicts and present information in a manner that stakeholders can review to make informed decisions
- Prepare and conduct mass and/or manual data updates in ERP
- Analyze and articulate business requirements and translate them into functional requirements
- Process map existing product creation/update/discontinuation flow and use workflow tools to systematically steer the process
- As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will monitor and correct data processing exceptions and clean-up opportunities
- Properly record and maintain requirements and process documentation
- Develop standards and guidelines to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues
- Create/maintain standardized reporting in Power Query/ BI in different areas on supply chain to support growing business need
- Serve as Key User to educate users and problem solve exceptions
- Supply Chain Data Analyst will actively seek and adopt best practices in data reporting by learning new tools and platforms
- Support ad-hoc internal customer requests and business systems projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- The ideal individual will have 3+ years of experience managing Master Data and ERP projects in a manufacturing environment, with a record of demonstrated and sustained improvements; This individual must have an eye for continuous improvement opportunities and possess communication skills to develop and execute solutions with large teams from varying parts of the business; Previous experience with MRP implementation preferred
- 3+ years of previous job-related experience required, strong knowledge of Enterprise master data and how it applies to business
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other major ERP software
- Prior experience in process mapping and setting up workflows
- Must possess strong knowledge of relational databases and reporting tools like Excel, Power Query, and Power BI
- Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail and follow-up abilities
- Experience gathering requirements, functional design, and documenting business processes
- Must be highly disciplined, organized, self-starter with the ability to execute assignments independently in agile environment
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Responds strongly and positively to challenging work and deadlines
