Infosys is seeking a Data Engineer. The candidate is expected to have prior experience in end-to-end implementation of Data pipelines, ETL, Visualization, reporting etc in Azure. Also includes identification of ‘right’ problem, designing ‘optimum’ solution, implementing using ‘best in class’ practices. The candidate needs to work in alignment with data strategy at client, using various technologies and platforms. The project involves close co-ordination with offshore teams.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree
2+ years in Data Engineering and visualization. In-depth programming experience using Python and SQL.
Experience with data gathering, processing, transformation, data quality, system architecture, coding best practices
1-2 years proven experience in Azure Cloud Data Warehousing, DataBricks, Azure Data Factory, and Mulesoft – design, build, and support
Strong understanding of and advocacy for Dev/Sec/Ops competencies.
2+ years using Azure DevOps , 2+ years SQL coding experience
Python and PySpark programming experience
Apache Airflow Experience Snowflake
Hands on experience on Power BI
CI/CD Experience with Jenkins Pipelines, Code Coverage, Scans etc.,
Less dependent and self-learner on new technologies as we may adapt in future (like ThoughtSpot, Kubernetes, Docker etc.,)
Basic experience working on Linux Environment, knowledge of Notebooks and Machine Learning
Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
Proven ability to partner with key business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that exceed expectations
Design and implement ETL and data movement solutions using Azure Databricks.
Proven ability to identify new data and integration tools and patterns that advance business capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Big Data Experience strongly preferred – HDFS, Hive, Spark, Scala
Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes (resource should be able to scale up to learn and contribute if the need arises)
Cloud Experience ( Azure)
Apache Hive Experience
Knowledge of BI Tool like Power BI ,Tableau
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Understanding and hands on developer experience of Orchestration services like airflow
Ability to work independently and ownership of deliverable with minimum hand holding
