Insight Enterprises is seeking a MLOps engineer with experience creating and maintaining machine learning models using computer vision/image processing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ML model management tools and practices. Previous experience with the Agile SDLC methodology is preferred.

Responsibilities
Participate in full lifecycle software development for Computer Vision (CV) Models, specifically their deployment and management in development, pre-production, and production environments.
Advise on performance improvement and maturation strategies for models based on feature performance, in-situ model performance and stakeholder feedback.
Manage deployment of ML models to production and assist in monitoring live site issues.
Develop and iterate on release pipeline for ML models to drive incremental improvements.
Collaborate with technology teams across FM Global in the development of new AI/ML capabilities and establish a best-in-class processes for model management and deployment.
Provide guidance across CV team – from CV Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and DevOps – to support sustainable deployment of ML capabilities across AI/ML teams.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), especially with AI/ML solutions
- Understanding of software engineering, including performance tuning, algorithm design, and architecture
- Experience with large batch processes operations
- Excellent debugging knowledge of requisite tools
- Supported full-stack systems design, observability, and live site management
- Experience with automated testing of machine learning artifacts
- Experience deploying projects and platforms through CI/CD, Git, and automation
- Experience with scaling production models using containerization
- Experience establishing system health monitoring and observability solutions
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and frameworks
- Experience working in Azure cloud and using Azure Machine Learning toolset
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
