JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Junior Business Analyst for a hybrid opportunity that sits onsite 2-3 days per week located Central Kentucky. This Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, perform root cause analysis, and present solutions with a high sense of urgency. This Jr Business Analyst will partner with Sr Analysts to learn the process and procedures of the team and the interworking’s of the assigned application. Once settled into the role, this individual will be the point of escalation for any application issues that arise that the Service Desk cannot fix along with working as a true BA where you would work with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate with the development team to build on new functions for the application.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of Application Support experience (Preferably as an Analyst)
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Familiarity with SQL or similar database query languages
DESIRED SKILLS
EDI experience
Agile / Scrum experience
SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Salesforce, and/or MS Dynamics experience
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
Experience developing test scripts
