Intrado’s Life & Safety groupl is hiring a Tableau Administrator to join our technology team!

Intrado’s Life & Safety division is responsible for some critical parts of our everyday life. Our solutions are responsible for everything that happens after a 9-1-1 call is placed – call routing, delivery, location determination and data management. Whether you call from a landline, cell phone or text 9-1-1, we make sure first responders get the right information at the right time so they can save lives.

MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Tableau Platform Support – Provide a quality high performance Tableau environment for internal and external clients.

• Assist with patching of the Tableau environment
• Monitor the Tableau server utilization and alert on overutilization of the environment
• Perform quarterly audits of dashboards utilization
• Perform periodic upgrades of the Tableau software as well as the Operating system of the environment
• Update security patches and certificates
• Perform performance tuning of the Tableau environment
• Ensure data integrity and security according to departmental standards and procedures
• Identify back up plan and content to ensure data is protected, ensuring data recovery is available and restored in a timely manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineer or a related field is required
• Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2-year experience in computer science or MIS required, preferably including database administration experience

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Based on area of responsibility and departmental need knowledge of Tableau and Windows OS
• Based on area of responsibility and departmental need knowledge of one or more of the following may be preferred: SQL, ability to develop dashboards in Tableau
