Job Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for a wide range of activities including gathering data, organizing information, analyzing historical results, making forecasts and projections and generating Excel models, presentations, and reports. In this role, you will interface cross functionally with our finance team and accountants and domains to support the collection and reporting of financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly revenue and expense forecast cycle, ensuring accurate projections, appropriate level of reporting, analysis, and communication.
• Perform variance and trend analysis between actual, budget, and forecast revenue and expense targets.
• Work closely with management and operations personnel to identify and communicate risks to drive cost management improvements and ensure established targets meet the revenue and financial goals.
• Support margin management by actively managing the alignment of expenses to charge codes.
• Support customer invoicing activities.
• Support pricing by conducting quarterly reviews.
• Create SOPs for Invoicing, Accounts Receivable & Payable, Margin Management.
• Contract intake activities to include the establishment of:
• Invoice schedule
• Revenue recognition schedule
• Milestone schedule
• Charge codes needed
• Additional capacity/vendors needed
• Bonus memo
• Working with cross functional teams to help report KPIs and SAAS metrics and reporting packages using both financial and operational based metrics
• Other duties, and ad hoc reporting, as assigned

Desired Experience & Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis or comparable role in a SaaS or subscription-based environment
• BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance and or an MBA
• Statistical, analytical, and data modeling skills including advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, index matches, etc.)
• Understanding of GAAP, DCAA and non-GAAP financial metrics
