RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acting as Data and Reporting SME and ability to use various tools including but not limited to Excel, Qlik
Sense, and/or Power BI. - Devises methods for identifying data quality patterns and trends and enhance necessary controls
accordingly. - Ability to identify, analyze and interpret trends and/or patterns in data sets, and produce summaries or
dashboards for communication, consumption and understanding. - Ability to scrub and manipulate data sets.
- Understanding large population data and to summarize in a clear, concise manner in reports
- Continuously research emerging trends and industry best practices in BI platforms, data governance,
visualization and analytics to be able to improve the delivery of reliable data with insight and clarity to the
business.
Requirements
- Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse
methodologies and data modeling. - Develops or modifies data models, ETL processes, and BI tool solutions.
- Experience with tier-one applications, databases, and data warehouses using Microsoft SQL Server
technology stack - Lead the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.
- Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.
- Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI platform.
- Hands-on experience with user interaction around business requirements gathering
- Advanced ability to problem-solve creatively and analyze processes and systems.
- Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision while working independently or in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thought-driven leadership to successfully deliver scalable business solutions
- Experience creating dashboards using QlikSense or other similar visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with tools and concepts related to data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data and practical application of AI/ML analytics.
- Experience with delivering business critical BI solutions using data and analytics across private, hybrid and public cloud platforms.
