Job Description
Under governmental direction, provide dedicated, off-site support for customized applications, interfaces, and software administration requested by United States Space Force. Review of unit data will focus on completeness and ensuring ability for readiness information and reports to be exported/imported to interface with other units, unit systems and processes while protecting privacy act information. Provide remote support Tier 1 level, while supplementing support with overlap from others on staff. Administer user accounts, permissions, and roles inside the Patriot Excalibur application. Interact with government customers to support PEX implementation, upgrades and disposition.
Work scope may include any/all of the following duties:
- Responsible for developing procedures for administering PEX admin/user accounts, downloading, assigning training materials and profiles, along with establishing system default permissions. Take Squadron and Delta needs and policies into account when administering user access to the PEX system. Develop and employ PEX security Standard Operating Procedures
- Troubleshoot PEX software problems found by the user at the unit or squadron to provide problem identification, resolution and tracking to include logging the problem, duplicating through testing and analyzing until a resolution is found
- Track any requests for support which are not immediately closed via an online system – (e.g. Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.)– and provide updates through to closure
- Monitor/coordinate PEX implementation, upgrades, and disposition ensure PEX hardware and software versions are compatible

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Knowledge, skills & abilities required/desired:
- Must have 3-10 years of customer/system support experience
- Ability to enter and provide quality control for PEX data sets
- Ability to monitor/coordinate PEX implementation, upgrades, and disposition ensure PEX hardware and software versions are compatible
- Ability to manage PEX security permission levels, user list, and access levels
- Ability to troubleshoot PEX software, hardware problems
- Ability to maintain control and cognizance over United States Government unclassified/classified data.
- Previous PEX experience preferred
Training & Certifications
None required
Must be able to secure and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must pass drug testing.
Must be able to read and write effectively in English.
